Reviews NODA Review Director: Sheila Hood The overture from an orchestra under the tight control of John Biddulph heralded the start of an evening of sheer musical enjoyment. Principal voices any MD would give his eye teeth for, actors who could act, pretty, well-dressed ladies and an articulate mens’ chorus, what more could any audience ask? Mary James(Hanna Glavari), Ron York(Count Danilo), John James(Baron Zeta) and Emma Parker(Valencienne) sang their hearts out and the music of Franz Lehar has never sounded better. Full marks to anyone associated with this production. To Bridgnorth MTC from your NODA rep, more operetta please. Cast |
